ICON Virtual School program retiring

Due to declining interest and enrollment, the ICON Virtual School will not continue for the 22-23 school year.

Students will finish the 21-22 school year within their school and program of choice. Students will continue in that school and program next school year unless a new choice was made during the Choice process or has been accepted into a magnet program (see Skyward Family Access for choice results).

If you have questions regarding transportation or the Choice of School process, contact Transportation or the Student Services.

If you have any questions about virtual school, please email them to ICON@garlandisd.net.

To better support the diverse needs of our families, we are officially launching the ICON Virtual School program.

Students will attend fully virtual classes supported by full-time virtual teachers. Classes will be held at the same time as normal school hours. The program is available for students in kindergarten through grade 6.
