It is our goal to encourage our Garland ISD community and stakeholders to take advantage of the opportunity to vote. We've gathered some resources and key information to help our community be informed about the voting process.

Next election date
The next upcoming election is on May 2, 2026.
- Monday, Feb. 2, 2026: The final day to register to vote for the upcoming election.
Early voting
Voters registered in Dallas County may vote at any Early Voting location.
Voting by mail
- Visit Dallas County Vote by Mail for eligibility requirements, instructions, and deadlines.
Voting guidelines for Dallas County
On Election Day, you must bring acceptable photo identification to vote in person. You must be registered at your current address at least 30 days before the election in which you want to participate.
Dallas County residents may vote at any Dallas County vote center.
