We have a rich history of excellence in athletic performance at all levels, and a commitment to continue to invest in our student-athletes. We believe that through physical activity and athletic competition, students are well positioned to successfully develop their values, life skills and personal character.

Concussion testing

Garland ISD is committed to the health and safety of our student-athletes. Because of this, GISD Athletic Trainers will begin conducting baseline testing for student-athletes in grades 7–12 that participate in contact or collision sports.
