Choice of School and Magnet applications open for PreK-K
Families can now make their 2026-27 campus choices and magnet applications for prekindergarten and kindergarten from April 1-May 1. See the School Choice and Magnet Application Guide for details.
Note: All students entering Kindergarten are required to complete a Choice of School form. This ensures that all students, including those transitioning from our Pre-Kindergarten centers, have the opportunity to select their preferred campus. You will receive an email from Avela with the link to the form.
New to GISD? Pre-K and new kindergarten enrollees will receive the Choice of School email once your enrollment has been processed.
