Softball and Baseball Field Improvements
New turf fields, with bleacher canopies, for all high school softball and baseball fields was part of the planned facility upgrades for Bond 2023.

Garland High baseball and softball fields are under construction. Fields at the other six high schools are complete.

New baseball and softball fields for all high schools
Bond 2023 Proposition A includes updates to the high school softball and baseball fields. The project scope includes:
- installation of synthetic turf
- new dugouts
- new backstop wall and netting
- canopies over bleachers
The project is divided into three parts to accommodate all seven high schools.
