Garland ISD Clarifies Employment Status of Individual in Viral TikToks

Garland ISD is aware of viral videos created by Christian Shearhod, a former district employee. Shearhod has not been employed by Garland ISD since June 2022 and is not affiliated with the district in any capacity. Any statements made in his video content are his own and should not be attributed to Garland ISD. Garland ISD strongly denounces the misrepresentation of continued affiliation with the district, which is misleading and inaccurate.

The district has received multiple inquiries regarding the videos. Christian Shearhod does not work for Garland ISD, and the district should not be contacted regarding his videos or content on his various profiles. We have requested that LinkedIn update his employment dates to accurately reflect his 2022 departure from the district.
