Prop A: Special Education

If approved, Proposition A is projected to generate up to $6.6 million in additional operational revenue for Board-approved specialized education programs, such as dyslexia services.
These funds could also be used to preserve Special Education staff-to-student ratios.

Dyslexia program
- The district’s dyslexia program serves 4,887 students across all grade levels.
- Services include specialized instruction, small group settings, frequent pull-out sessions, and a research-based curriculum.
- Additional funding from Proposition A could be used to maintain current staffing levels, instructional resources, and program capacity.
