Voters registered in Dallas County may vote at any Early Voting location.

Voting by mail

Sample Ballot
The State of Texas legally mandates the ballot wording and layout. The information found on the ballot will still be the same as what has been shared by the district, but worded to meet legal requirements. See a sample ballot below.
Note that the ballot references a $41,996,738 increase in revenue. This is the amount that would come from local taxes. If Prop A is approved, the state will provide additional funds to equal a total $56 million annual increase.

Garland Independent School District Proposition A:
THIS IS A TAX INCREASE
Ratifying the ad valorem tax rate of $1.170900 in Garland Independent School District for the current year, a rate that will result in an increase of 16.49 percent in maintenance and operations tax revenue for the district for the current year as compared to the preceding year, which is an additional $41,996,738.
