If passed, Proposition A is projected to provide about $56 million in additional funds annually for teacher and staff salaries, student programs, specialized education services and safety and security. 


The Conrad Spirrison Memorial Scholarship was established in 2022 to provide financial assistance to an undergraduate student preparing for a career in education. Dr. Spirrison was the Father of Holly Baker and Co-Pilot of Sophia Spirrison, both Pilot members of the Midwest District. Conrad was passionate in his support of Pilot International’s endeavors for many years. Dr. Spirrison was s a lifelong student, who became an educator and administrator. His family is honored to sponsor a scholarship in his memory.

Eligibility Requirements
  • Graduating high school seniors and/or full-time undergraduate students who have completed at least 12 credit hours in a college or university in the United States or Canada at the time of submitting the application.  Must remain a full-time student for the duration of the scholarship.
  • Have at the time of application and maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale or a 4.0 on a 5.0 scale.
  • Career goal(s) in education.
  • Awards are based on community service, financial need, academic success, and application contents.
