To be eligible to receive a LoSF Scholarship, you must:

• Be a resident of Dallas County or be a graduating senior from a Dallas County high school, charter school or homeschool.
• Have a minimum 3.0 GPA (cumulative unweighted grade point average on a 4.0 scale).
• Have participated in community service activities within the past four years.
• Submit all required documents by the application deadline (11:59pm CST on January 30, 2026). Required documents include:
  • A 500-word personal essay
  • Two (2) letters of recommendation (preferably from teachers and/or  community leaders)
  • High School transcript
  • ACT or SAT scores

  Helpful Notes to Consider

• Applicants from low to moderate family incomes are encouraged to apply.
• Applications missing any requested items will not be considered.
• Applicants with a cumulative grade point average below the minimum unweighted 3.0 GPA will not be considered.
