Mia Balko Student Teaching Scholarship

This scholarship was renamed in honor of the late Mia Balko, who was the director of youth outreach and scholarship coordinator for TFB. Prior to joining TFB, Balko was an agricultural science teacher.

Eligibility Requirements

Applicant must be a member of a Texas Farm Bureau family (membership must remain in good standing for the duration of the scholarship)

Must be a senior Agricultural Education major with the purpose of teaching agriculture

Must be attending a college or university that provides an agricultural education degree program, teaching option • Angelo State University • Sam Houston State University • Stephen F.
