1.    The scholarship will be awarded to a student who (a) is a current senior (b) maintained enrollment for the entire school year, (c) will graduate from a Garland Independent School District high school, and (d) will be attending college in the upcoming Fall semester.
2.    In order to be considered for the Parsons Panda College Scholarship, eligible students must provide the following packet:

• a.    A completed Parsons Panda College Scholarship Application.
• b.    A copy of their high school transcript indicating a high-school grade point average of
• 3.0 or higher.
• c.    Proof of community service or volunteer activities. A letter from a supervising community service leader is acceptable.
• d.    A typed, double-spaced, 12 font, 300-500-word essay about how your experience at Parsons laid the foundation for academic success, and your college and career goals.
• e.    Three letters of recommendation: Two of the three letters must be written by a
• high-school teacher and/or school counselor, and one professional letter must be written by an employer or community service staff member.
