Carson-Mulkey Agriculture Science Center
Latest Update: Fall 2025
As part of the bond program, the district is building the new Carson-Mulkey Agriculture Science Center to support hands-on learning and career development for students. This facility, located in Sachse, will provide dedicated space for agricultural education and will include classrooms, an arena, animal pens and washing/grooming bays. The center will give students real-world experiences in a modern, safe environment, preparing them for future careers in agriculture and related industries.
This investment reflects the district’s commitment to expanding educational opportunities and supporting programs that connect students to high-demand career fields.
Building design for students and their animals
The architectural team met with students, teachers, district leaders and other stakeholders to identify key needs for the new facility. Some important elements incorporated into the design plans are maximized ventilation and areas to support the needs of specific animals, a centralized show arena and access paths for loading.
