Pre-K Experience (invite only)
Play, learn, and prepare for preschool at a Pre-K Experience session! Students can get ready for prekindergarten by attending one of the sessions offered on June 11 or June 12 at either Cisneros or Parsons Pre-K Centers.
ESL & Dual Language classes are available. Families can choose between a morning or afternoon session. Please note these sessions are invite-only for rising prekindergarten students with seats for the 2025-26 school year.
Schedule
Students may only attend one session, on one day, and at one school. Both Cisneros and Parsons will offer this schedule on both days:
- Morning session: 8:30-11:30 a.m.
- Parent meeting (morning): 9-9:30 a.m.
- Afternoon session: 12:30-3:30 p.m.
- Parent meeting (afternoon): 1-1:30 p.m.
Parents will attend a 45-minute parent meeting to learn about prekindergarten and receive resources. This meeting is mandatory. Please note that only 1-2 parents/guardians may attend.
Attending the sessions
- There is no dress code for students, although tennis shoes are preferred.
- Please send a small bag, extra clothes, and a water bottle with your student. Please do not send snacks. School supplies will be provided.
- Only rising Pre-K students can stay for the Pre-K Experience. Parents/guardians will attend the parent meeting and pick up their student after the Pre-K session ends.
- Breakfast will be provided for the morning sessions, and lunch for the afternoon sessions.
