VDI (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure) gives you the ability to connect to a district desktop from anywhere you have access to high speed internet. This will provide you a way to access the files on your network drives and other internal GISD resources from outside the district.

You may use the HTML Access web browser-based portal without downloading or installing any software. Or you can download and install the VMware Horizon client on a Windows or MAC OS X machine. The VMware Horizon client is also available as an app for iOS or Android based devices.
