The “Grit Award” is for high school seniors who have shown tenacity in overcoming challenges, and who now wish to build on their success by pursuing higher education or vocational training. Applicants should have a track record of community service as well as demonstrated financial need. Andrea created the “Grit Award” to give back to her community, and to help make sure that some talented and tenacious young people enjoy the same opportunities she had to attend college and live their dreams.
