There’s never a better time to choose health.

Could you use a healthy change? Your whole family would benefit from those changes, too! Here are some simple tips to get started:

Smart Food Choices

  • Limit sugary drinks, sodas, and juices.
  • Make your favorite meals healthier by swapping in lean meats and whole grains.
  • Don’t skip the veggies—add an extra one to every meal!

Fun and Engagement

  • Get the whole family involved in meal planning, shopping, and cooking.
  • Make eating healthy foods fun by creating a “rainbow” meal challenge—try foods in every color!

Setting Boundaries

  • Skip buying or bringing home junk food.
  • Cut back on screen time and establish a bedtime routine for everyone.

Exercise and Portion Control

  • Make time for movement—even parking farther away can get the blood flowing.
  • Use smaller plates to help guide portion sizes.

Healthy changes don’t have to be big to make a difference. Start small, and over time, your family can build habits that last a lifetime. When the family works toward healthy goals together, everyone benefits. Children who see their parents making healthy choices are more likely to follow their lead.

Healthy changes start today—because every day is the perfect day to prioritize wellness.
