Dyslexia is a neurological condition caused by a different wiring of the brain. It is a learning disability that can make reading difficult.

Some of the signs associated with dyslexia include difficulties with:

  • spelling
  • learning to speak
  • learning letters and their sounds
  • memorizing number facts or doing math operations correctly
  • organizing written and spoken language
  • persisting with and comprehending longer reading assignments

With proper diagnosis, appropriate instruction, hard work, and support from family, teachers, friends and others, individuals who have dyslexia can succeed in school and later as working adults.

Together we can help those who struggle with dyslexia get access to the tools and resources they need.
