Women's History Month is celebrated during March each year to recognize and encourage the study of the involvement of women in our common history.

History up to the modern-day often did not document or recognize the achievements of women in their time. Observing Women's History Month allows us to honor these ignored academic, social and historical advancements as well as encourage everyone in our communities to continue innovating in our society.
