World Autism Month
One in every 59 children in America has Autism spectrum disorder (ASD).
ASD is a complex developmental disability that affects a person’s ability to communicate and interact with others. ASD is a “spectrum condition” that affects individuals differently and to varying degrees.
World Autism Awareness Month represents an excellent opportunity to promote autism awareness and acceptance. Let's think about ways we can ensure acceptance and inclusion in schools and communities and appreciate the unique aspects of all people.
