Burger King James W. McLamore Whopper Scholarship Award
The BURGER KING Scholars program assists employees, employees' spouses or domestic partners, employees' children and high school seniors in the United States, Puerto Rico and Canada in continuing their education. To date, the program has awarded more than $56 million in scholarships to more than 49,000 students. Last year alone, $3.4 million in scholarships were awarded to nearly 3,200 deserving students.

It was those values that helped realize a dream and it is those same values that are the core of the BURGER KING® Foundation, which will continue to build on his legacy and his commitment to education.
$1,000 - $60,000 per recipient for 1 or multiple recipients
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
BURGER KING® General Track - Available to all high school seniors who meet the criteria below.
Applicants must:
- Be living in the United States, Puerto Rico, Guam or Canada.
- Be graduating high school seniors (U.S., Puerto Rico and Guam), graduating from grade 12 (Canada) or graduating from home school education in the U.S., Puerto Rico, Guam or Canada.
- Have a cumulative high school grade point average of 2.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale, or the equivalent.
- Plan to enroll full-time, without interruption, for the entire upcoming academic year at an accredited two- or four-year college, university or vocational-technical school or CEGEP or equivalent in the U.S., Puerto Rico, Guam or Canada.
