The COMTO North Texas Scholarship Program with a 501 (c) 3 status supports our strategic goal of ensuring the continuing legacy of minorities in transportation. Our primary goal is to award scholarships to worthy students for the pursuit of higher education who are pursuing various careers in the transportation industry, and the scholarship awardees are represented in many academic backgrounds.

Eligibility Requirements

A field of study for transportation-related degrees may include Accounting, Architecture, Business Administration, Communications, Construction Science, Criminal Justice, Education, Engineering, Environmental Science, Finance, Information Technology, Law, Logistics, Management, Marketing, Political Science, Public Administration, Social Work, Sociology, Supply Chain Management, Transportation Management, and Urban Planning. To be eligible, the applicant must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident, and a minority high school senior in the Dallas/Fort Worth region at the time of the applicant's submission, with a minimum 2.5 GPA. College students are not eligible to apply.
