See Something Say Something Scholarship
We at the Law Office of Bill Nettles believe in standing up against injustice. We understand that it takes a lot of courage to speak up in a difficult or sensitive situation. Unfortunately, there are many incidents when speaking up jeopardizes personal relationships or even someone’s career.
As qui tam lawyers, we know firsthand how impactful it can be to speak up against injustice in any sense. This can include blowing the whistle on a company making false claims, or something as small as holding a person accountable for wrongdoing in their personal lives. For this scholarship, we are asking applicants to describe a time they spoke up about an injustice they witnessed in their own lives and what resulted from them speaking up. Applicants may also reflect on what they learned from their experience and how to encourage others to speak up against injustices in the future.
