Choice of School Notice:
As part of the 2024-25 consolidation plan, Handley STEM Elementary will welcome students from Centerville Elementary. Handley STEM will function as a single school with students from both the existing Handley STEM location and the former Centerville location.
The information on the remainder of this page relates to the current Handley STEM for the 2023-24 school year and will be updated over the summer for 2024-25. In the meantime, see the Centerville and Handley STEM Consolidation page for updates and FAQs about the transition to a combined school.
Handley STEM is a GISD Innovative School of Choice with a science, technology, engineering and math focus. Students have expanded opportunities for hands-on learning and enrichment activities that develop lifelong skills.
