Be an active part of the district

Are you interested in being a voice on campuses and in district topics?

Consider serving in one of our organized groups. District-level advisory committees, Booster Clubs, and Parent-Teacher Associations are all important opportunities to share your time and expertise with our students.

Contact your campus if you want to serve in a Booster Club or Parent-Teacher Association (PTA). See below for a list of current district advisory committees.

Advisory Committees

District Educational Improvement Council (DEIC)

The DEIC looks at student learning and ways to grow academic achievement in our district.

Safety & Security Committee

Members of the Safety & Security Committee work to support the safety of our staff and students.

Multi-Ethnic Committee (MEC)

This group focuses on ensuring a fair and equal education for all students, specifically focusing on eliminating discrimination.

Student Health Advisory Council (SHAC)

The Student Health Advisory Council is a part of our Coordinated School Health program, which aims to ensure community values are included in all school health topics.

SPED Focus Group

Our district is committed to providing a "world-class special education" and needs help identifying what that looks like for our community. Volunteers can join the focus group to help define this for our district. Learn more on our Special Education page.

SEL Advisory Council

We use SEL as a district to create a positive environment and a culture of relationship-building. The council will meet four times a year to discuss implementation and how we can continue to use SEL to help combat learning loss. Learn more on our Social and Emotional Learning page.

Calendar Committee

The selections for the current committee have been made. Check back during the fall of 2025 to apply for a position on the district Calendar Committee for the 2026-27 and 2027-28 school years.
