Welcome to Garland ISD! Please use this page as a resource for required training, district information and other resources to help you as a new member of the GISD family.
Garland ISD is one of the largest districts in Dallas County, educating more than 52,000 students across 68 campuses. Our district:

Staff page
The For Staff page (garlandisd.net/staff) is a central location for access to frequently used staff resources. You will find links to important applications like Skyward, Canvas, ReadyHub, Oracle and more.
The staff page functions as the main overview page for the staff section of the website. From there, you can use the section menu to find other helpful information.
- Under Health & Benefits, you can find information about our benefits, Employee Assistance Program (EAP), the Employee Clinic as well as discounts and wellness information for staff.
- The Human Resources section located in this area features frequently asked questions and other useful content for staff.
Intranet
Our employee intranet (home.garlandisd.net) is only accessible while connected to the district network.
This site houses documents and information provided to support district processes and procedures. Some useful pages here include the following:
- The Staff Planning Calendar, which houses events for all staff.
- The Latest News page, where you can read updates from different departments within the district.
- On the Intranet Payroll page, you'll find monthly and biweekly payroll calendars.
- The Tech Support page houses important instructions and information on using your school phone, computer and more.
Note: To access the Intranet, you must be connected to the district network, logged in to Outlook/Office 365 or have a VDI or VPN.

- The Contact us page provides a variety of links to directories and contact information for the main office, emergency numbers, reporting and more.
- Our Schools Directory provides helpful campus information such as links to their website, administration information and overviews of the school.
- The Department Directory provides department details and contact information (also found on the Intranet).
- Our Calendars section lists upcoming events throughout the entire community.
- The Garland ISD Mobile App provides quick access to district and campus events, news and resources for students and staff.
